These materials are tailored for Barnahus professionals to support improved inclusion at every level of their work. The materials distinguish between inclusion and accessibility.

Accessibility means ensuring that a person can enter, navigate and use a service, space or process. Inclusion goes further. It means ensuring that every child, caregiver and professional can participate meaningfully and effectively in all aspects of Barnahus on an equal basis with others, rather than through parallel or separate arrangements with different expectations or objectives. In the context of Barnahus, it means looking beyond whether a child or adult with a disability are able to attend an interview, medical examination, therapeutic support or other intervention. It is about ensuring that person receives the same quality services, every step of the way, as every other person.
