The Journey to the Lighthouse is essential reading for anyone on their own journey to launch and operate Barnahus and similar setups – not only for inspiration but also on practical considerations for every step along the way.

Since the launch of this book, the Lighthouse has concluded its pilot phase in 2022, and secured ‘business as usual’ funding. The Lighthouse has built upon the insights gained from the pilot and has evolved into the service it is today. For more information and to contact the service, please email thelighthouse.ask@nhs.net
